Situated in the county of La Cerdanya, just 150 km from Barcelona and with excellent transport links provided by the Skitren and SkiBus, La Molina is Spain's oldest ski resort and pioneered winter sports in the country. It opened in 1925 and offers a ski area of 71 km, as well as a great choice of things to do for non-skiers. La Molina is connected to the neighbouring resort of Masella providing access to 145 km of ski slopes with a single ski pass.
The resort also has two snow parks, a Big Air Bag, a fun park, a boardercross course and the largest halfpipe in the Pyrenees.
La Molina is known as a resort that is adapted and accessible to people with reduced mobility and offers different activities run by the Centre d'Esports Adaptats (CEA).
